i like: ernst haeckel. the watts towers. joshua tree. burning man. e. e. cummings. pierrot le fou. comme de garcons. yohji yamamoto. viktor & rolf. desira pesta. vir mulier. gypsies and pirates. buffalo and bears.

i grew up in psychedelic desert junkyards with gun-toting cowboy biker hippies. but mama lived uptown and listened to classical music and took me to every museum.

i have a degree in the writing of poetry from a prestigious institution, and started graduate school in film theory at another prestigious institution. then i wreaked fancy havoc on the west coast before living in my van with my dog and enough art supplies to make projects for eternity. and now i live in a magical world of making, metropolis, and moisture.

i believe in respecting fabric and letting it speak for itself. i try not to fuck with it too much, and i try not waste it. but i'm trying to make something beautiful and comfortable and wearable, too.

ledthread is messy and imperfect, just like life, just like me, just like you.
