a few things i like:

a few things about me:

i grew up in arizona, cut my teeth in los angeles, and gypsy'd across america before landing in brooklyn-by-the-sea.


i made clothes for, um, ever before going back to school to learn from people who already figured it out.  i got a degree for writing poetry and started a master's degree studying film theory; yes, i was for a while the opposite of a maker. 

i freelance for the awesome BurdaStyle, an open-source sewing resource.  I make a lot of patterns and samples for them, and use some of their patterns in my Etsy shop.  I love to do custom!  Convo me and/or check out the 'fabric' set at my flickr account for possibilities.
